The Kamala Harris-promoted Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) has helped an accused child sex offender be released from jail — one of a number of violent offenders the MFF has bailed out over the past few months.
The suspect, 36-year-old Timothy Wayne Columbus, is accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl back in 2015 and faces up to 30 years in jail, according to court records reviewed by The Daily Caller.
Columbus was released from jail in July on a $75,000 bail.
“One day after his release, Columbus signed a document asking the court to return any refunded bail to the MFF, indicating that the fund played a role in securing his release from jail, a court document obtained by the DCNF shows,” the Caller reported on Wednesday.
One court record obtained by the outlet outlines some of the grisly details of the alleged assault.
“Victim stated ‘Tim’ laid her on the couch and held her down as he unbuckled his pants and pulled down her pants. Victim stated he then ‘put his thing inside me,’” a statement of probable cause read. “Victim stated ‘Tim’ told her not to tell anyone and continued to penetrate her.”
Columbus was considered a family friend but stopped visiting the family shortly after the alleged assault.
He was arrested in June and admitted knowing the girl but denying molesting her, claiming that she “always really liked him,” according to the statement.
Prior to his arrest, Columbus was a registered sex offender as part of a separate incident, according to the Caller.

Harris continues to promote MFF
In early June, Harris posted a link to the MFF on her official Twitter account, encouraging supporters to donate to the group to help bail arrested protesters.
The page Harris linked to has not been removed and continues to actively raise money.

Who else has the MFF bailed out?
Jaleel Stallings, a man suspected of opening fire at members of a SWAT Team during a riot in May, was released from jail after the MFF paid $75,000 for his release.
A woman named Darnika Floyd who is accused of second-degree murder for fatally stabbing a friend was also bailed out by the MFF, which paid $100,000 for her release.
Christopher Boswell, a twice-convicted rapist who is currently charged with kidnapping, assault, and sexual assault in two different cases, was released from custody after the MFF paid $350,000 for his release.
Last month, the fund helped bail out a man accused of assaulting a 71-year-old woman while robbing her home, show court records obtained by the Caller.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office told the Caller the man was found to be in violation of his bail and there’s an active arrest warrant out for him.
The court records also show a man suspected of robbing another person in Minneapolis on May 25, the day George Floyd died, was bailed out in June with help from the MFF.

Same with military soldiers can’t become citizens until they spend 14 years as a resident of the USA before the of 18. She left when she was 5 to Canada and came back to howard univ on a student scholarship foreigner. You can check I bet she never swore in as a usa age 18. No one cared.
She stated in a campaign speech it’s the team of Harris and Biden several times. She plans on and only way to do this is Biden wins first. Then she step in and no one can stop her …you don’t vote for her only biden.
But then people are contesting it..in meantime who becomes president none other then Pelosi which is what her team has always been.
She is right in your face telling you who she is where she stands every step of the way, even if Indian is an interchangeable thing to her and the truth is not a priority…reminds me of her followers. Trump 2020!
